Work Experience Placements System

WEXPlacer is a client-server based application to be deployed for School based co-ordinators, Borough co-ordinators, the LSC, and any third party company responsible for H&S checking.

The use of the School PLASC return and other extract routines pull student data each year allowing SBCs to concentrate on working with the student to create the students profile.

Placement organisations can be researched and found by any of the three types of co-ordinator, and the visibility of an organisation can be restricted to one borough, a few schools, or just one school.

The H&S checking function is separated from the rest of the application, allowing the management of this to be sub-contracted to an organisation who need not see student details.

Statistics at all levels are available, showing completions and placement progress, as well as trends, student demand versus placement supply and year on year progress.

Automatic generation of letters to parents and other documents, reduces administration time, and reduces paper work (also fulfilling environmental objectives).
